Finally it is seen that, apart from
the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh who took Office swearing in English but
in the name of god, 37 Ministers took Oath in English, and 30 in Hindi.
Amongst the Ministers of Govt of India sworn into Office in 2004,
including the Prime Minister of India, only 26 swore by the Constitution, while
the rest 42 swore in the name of God, of course their own gods and goddesses
lingering in their minds. .
These show their progressive and
rational mind, or the backward non-secular
religious bent of mind?
Here it is not out of place, but
in fact pertinent to recall that, our Messiah – Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ramji
Ambedkar, was meticulously dressed with an Hat Tie Suit and Boot. He invariably wrote in English. Because he was and still is a Great Dalit,
whom we can never forget, and he, his Dress, his Language Writings and Speeches
were all important and significant indices and symbols of Development and
Progress. On the other-hand, the
dominant castes Dhoti is a clear indication of arrogant stupidity, lazy
relaxed Pyjama Kurta remains of feudal mindset, and use of hindi a clear
indication of the unwillingness to develop, move forward, and progress. It is also a sign of deliberate domination
on others, imposition of ones will over helpless others particularly the
minorities, and total unwillingness to communicate and share your knowledge
thoughts and ideas with others across the country, and hide what you say write
and do from the shrinking international World.
These also the first steps of the dangers of dictatorship, fooling the
poor, march behind or rearwards movements and backwardness, fundamentalism,
fascism, caste-exploitation, hindutva and pogroms.
