TRIBALS LAND-LORDS POLICE AND GOVTS
The cases of Bengal Jharkhand …….

The Meeting of 23rd June 2010 discussed the earlier Issues of
the Tribals Land-Lords Police and Govts.
Let us see Who are the Tribals,
particularly the Scheduled Tribes?
The Scheduled Tribes, are those specific
Tribes, listed in the Schedule of the Govt of India, for special Protection and
Constitutional Guarantees.
The Tribes are those Particular Small Races and Groups of such
relatively Small Races, which others are not accepting, not cooperative, not
empathetic, not even sympathetic. On the
other hand the mainland dominant caste hindu
people DCHs are by and large antagonistic, are
condescendingly denigrating, have animosity, have aversion, and are not
accommodative and are not tolerant. They
are invariably intolerant and inimical, though putting up a silent façade till
opportune moments to react and harass or victimise the poor helpless Tribals.
The Tribals, particularly the Scheduled Tribes
are in Forests, Hills and Foothills, Remote River Valleys, Mountain Valleys and
Plains, Distant Lands and Islands, and Difficult Isolated Unapproachable
Areas. Some Plains’ Tribals
live culturally socially and physically away and isolated from the nearby
mainland people of DCHs. Particularly are those Plains’ Tribals who are ex-Criminal Tribes.
Majority of the Plains’ Tribals live all over
the Country, almost everywhere. And they
have undergone lots of racial intermixing.
But, still their exclusive Racial Identity Remains
Alive. They are carefully kept
physically isolated in water tight hamlets and isolated exclusive villages, to
keep them, especially their men biologically isolated from the DCH Women. They are generally confined to live and
forced to be at the peripherals and outskirts or in low lying fields. In fact, over a period of many Centuries all
such Plains’ Tribals have become, separate very
distinct bigger groups – the Scheduled Castes.
The Lives of the Scheduled People, Particularly the Tribals,
is one of Great Economy and Sustainable Development, Logical Evolution,
Leisurely Growth, Harmonious Lives, Environmentally Friendly and Ecologically
Sensitive till date. They don’t Destroy
Hills, Cut Trees, Pollute Rivers, Damage Water Bodies, Destroy Forests,
Cut-Down Trees or Shoot Down Animals Wild or
Mild. They are the age-old protectors of
Nature, preserving the Earth in their pristine beauty.
Tribals Sustainable Development and Leisurely Lives in harmony with Nature have
preserved for the World, Land Water, Hills Forests, Animals Birds and Fish in
their Wild Natural Habitats. And they
have remained the Guardians of all that Nature has, and also the Mineral
Resources, above or below the ground.
They are not greedy to exploit them for others and sell them to hoard
money, accumulate riches and garner wealth.
The Problems of the Tribals are Developmental
Economic Educational Infrastructural Backwardness. They have to be cobbled out and Evolved as Required and Suited to the Demands and Genius of
their Culture Environment and Tribal Society.
The Needs of Tribals now are for better
Houses, modern Schools, appropriate Education, good Hospitals, suitable Roads,
piped Water, some Electricity all that which can fit into their holistic
Development acceptable to the whole of their Tribes, and not any
Individuals. They Want some Salt
Kerosene Candles Cloth and Medicine. Definitely Not the harmful habit-forming enslaving culture
destroyers – Bidi
Cigarette Gutka
Drugs HIV/Aids Tobacco Soft Drinks or Hard Liquor.
The Beauty of Tribals, Tribal Areas, Tribal
Communities, Tribal Life and Tribal Lands are that the Need to Buy is Less, as
Needs are Less, and the Life is Less Demanding.
Only thing, one has to Understand the Tribals, Tribals’ Living, Tribal
Life, Tribal Land and Tribal Ethos. And
they Live a Self-Content, Self-Sufficient, Sustainable
Life. Hence they are remarkably Happy.
The Tribal Life, their Food, their Clothing, their Homes, their Life
Styles etc may not be Comfortable and Pleasant from any Urban Standards, and
Delhi’s Points of View, but the Tribals have
No-Problems with their Lives, and would like to be left out alone to Their Own
Ways of Lives.
Major Challenges of Tribals are DCH Main Land
People – the Corrupt Clerks Constables and other Babus, their Money Lending Wives Daughters Sisters Sisters-in-Law,
Professional Marwari Money Lenders, Bus & Lorry Drivers, Mechanics, Mineral
Prospectors
Like being a Woman is always a Problem, a difficult thing, beautiful
women has more problems and difficulties, young beautiful woman has much more
problems and difficulties – the Tribals and Tribal
Areas have many problems and dangers.
First every outsider covets their peaceful land with their pristine
natural beauty. Then they are attracted
by the plentiful Forest with its vast source of good quality Timber; then they
covet the Forest Wealth, Whole Forest, plentiful of Water, Potential of Power
Generation, get enamoured with the simple hardworking well-built strong but
trusting Tribal Women, the Minerals in the Area and finally the Land and whole
Tribal Area. Therefore the Tribals have now gotten into Deep Trouble of even living in
their own Homes and Home-Land in Peace with Dignity Freedom Independence and
Liberty
The coming of Industries and emergence of Some Employment Opportunities
therein have compromised the Spirit of Freedom of most Tribals,
particularly the somewhat literate ones and enslaved them. The Mining Industries have wrecked Havoc to
the Clean Peaceful Environment of Tribal Areas.
The entry of MNCs, FIMNCs
and Foreign Entrepreneurs have brought and revived the anti-Native outlooks of
the Whiteman that had unleashed terror misery murders killing and occupation of
Native Lands in America and Australia.
As a result the Tribals are being uprooted on
a large scale. Protestors are killed
after branding them as Communists Maoists Naxalites
and Terrorists. That is nothing but a
deep animosity and planned Pogrom and Genocide.
It is sad that when Tribals Speak Protest
Agitate and Fight against harassments dispossession and eviction or
marginalisation, the Govts at the State and Central
Levels, instead of listening to them, let loose
the Police for Oppressing and silencing them. Failing they bring in the dreaded Central
Police and dreaded Para-Military. When
their combined atrocities and onslaughts fail against the simple Tribals, the Govts at the Centre
thinks of bringing in the Army, draw up the Special Provisions of Army
Occupation, and in the face of resistance and failures even think of firing
with Air Force Helicopter Gun Ships, or strafing and bombing the Jungles and
Tribal Areas with Fighters and deadly Bombers.
Fighting against their own helpless poor People with
their backs on the walls, having been driven to the edges of life. That is sad.
Yet the HM is a sauvé efficient man. And the PM a great honest
man. Shameful are theses
happenings. And shameless are those in
Govt.
