PROBLEM AND DISCRIMINATION
Dr Nayak was considered
for Appointment as Cabinet Secretary.
Invited by the Prime Minister for a Discussion in the morning.
By evening, extension
of Service of the outgoing Cabinet Secretary Mr TSR Subramanyam was
announced. Dr Nayak retired as
Secretary. After he demitted his
Office, and handed over the charge on Superannuation, a Charge Sheet was served
on him at his residence. This to
disgrace him on some trumped up charges, and to deny him getting any posting
after retirement.
REASON : To Prevent
his Promotion as Cabinet Secretary, or any appointment after retirement.
SUSPECTED : To stop him, from getting the honour of
becoming the first SC/ST to occupy this Highest Position in the Country. And to deny the SCs&STs the opportunity
of reaching the highest job in Service.
